FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Supporting Service users in their homes in the following areas for example.
- Personal care.
- Dressing and undressing/preparing the service users for the day.
- Washing/bathing/showering/shaving and oral hygiene.
- Toileting and all aspects of personal hygiene.
- Continence management.
- Care of pressure sores (under appropriate nursing supervision).
- Getting in and out of bed.
- Assisting with the use of aids to daily living.
- Day/Evening sitting services, as required.
- Preparation of snacks and meals.
- Assisting with feeding as required.
- Domestic/household services.
- General cleaning duties
- Bed making.
- Laundering/handwashing / Ironing.
- Shopping and the preparation of shopping lists.
- Recording and reporting each visit and recording medication taken by service users.
- Administration Tasks-as appropriate
Expected hours: No less than 21 per week

Experience:
- Spinal Injury: 1 year (preferred)
