Overview
Excelly is offering a Data Analyst Internship designed for recent graduates or entry-level candidates who want to build practical skills in data analysis. This is a paid, 6-month internship where you’ll work closely with our analysts, providing assistance on reporting, dashboards, and data preparation. The role focuses on supporting our consulting team while you gain hands-on experience and training. Interns who perform well may be offered a permanent role after the programme.
Duties
- Assist with collecting, cleaning, and organising data from multiple sources.
- Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports in Excel or Power BI.
- Help analysts with ad-hoc reporting requests.
- Monitor data accuracy and flag inconsistencies.
- Document processes and update reporting templates.
- Contribute to team meetings and share findings in a clear way.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in data, analytics, or reporting.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel (formulas, charts, pivot tables).
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) desirable but not required.
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A degree in Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field preferred (or equivalent skills/experience).
- Must be based in the UK and eligible to work.
