About Us:
Down2aT Wedding Décor is a boutique décor and events company specialising in creating beautiful wedding settings and memorable experiences. We provide decorations, set-ups, centrepieces, lighting, and full event styling for weddings, receptions, and other private events.
Role Overview:
The Event/Wedding Manager will lead all aspects of the décor and styling for weddings and seasonal events. From initial client consultation to supplier coordination to on-site setup, you will ensure each event is delivered to a high standard and reflects client vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to understand their wedding decoration needs, themes, and style preferences.
- Create décor proposals including mood boards, pricing, and design concepts.
- Source, order, and manage inventory of décor materials (centrepieces, linens, lighting, florals, etc.).
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics (transport, storage, setup).
- Supervise the décor team on event days, manage installation and ensure teardown post-event.
- Oversee quality control, ensure every detail is polished.
- Manage schedules and budgets for multiple events.
- Assist in marketing & client follow-ups to generate new business.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in wedding/event decoration, styling or similar event orchestration roles.
- Strong eye for design and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure, particularly during setup and events.
- Flexibility to attend evening/weekend events.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
