Remote – Full Charge Bookkeeper – Independent Consultant

We have just celebrated our five-year anniversary and business is good. We operate two successful and growing Juice Bars and are looking for a full charge bookkeeper to run our back-of-the-house financials. The position is estimated to be 10 hours per week.
Ideal Candidate Characteristics:
· One year of bookkeeping experience, restaurant or food and beverage industries preferred.
· List lover (Every day, you will bang out lists of stuff. Fun stuff. Important stuff. Necessary stuff.)
· You find satisfaction in staying organized and can handle being on the computer.
· QBO is your expertise
· We prefer accuracy over speed because the details matter. You don’t race through work and don’t do things right the first time.
· We are looking for a good, fun person, who gets stuff done and can work independently.
Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile all transactions, close the month, and review financials for our two business units.
- Provide full-service accounts payable, and accounts receivable, file state required papers for unemployment and sales tax filings.
- Be able to utilize software to improve operational efficiency for bill pay
- Reconcile banking statements.
- Handle all financial transactions, and keep excellent records.
- Report business results on a regular basis.
