FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Reporting Analyst specializing in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our team.

In this pivotal role, reporting to the Platform North West Finance Director with a dotted line to Accounting & FPA Team Lead, they will be responsible for ensuring all data is reported appropriately.

Use of SAP S4 Hana & SAP C11, Power BI, Tagetik, Tableau, Analysis for Office, to enable accurate and timely financial reporting of the businesses and platform to local and Group Management

Responsibilities

FP&A:

– Responsible for generating monthly rolling P&L and cashflow forecasts

– Responsible for generating and reviewing the quarterly forecast review files and annual budget (Tagetik) files with Accounting & FPA Team Lead

– Generate Platform North West monthly P&L reviews

– Manage and maintain existing Power BI/Fabric reports; write and maintain new reports as required

– Owner and maintainer of the sales units’ Sales Databases

– Perform analytical reviews with Accounting & FPA Team Lead during month end to ensure accuracy of the management accounts

Responsibilities UK & IE :

– Key support in the completion of the month end process including local management accounts and Group reporting PACs

– Perform Revenue Recognition tasks

– Completion of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations

– Monthly expenses analysis as required for all key stakeholders

– Responsible for the rebates reporting process, including reporting turnover data to customers and business partnering with internal and external key stakeholders with any queries

Qualifications

– Experience in SAP 4 Hana Cloud system & SAP is desirable but not essential as training will be provided

– Strong understanding of key accounting terms and concepts

– Has a Minimum of 2 years of prior working experience in accounting with a demonstrable background

– Must have excellent all-round communication skills

– Excellent IT skills

– Strong communication skills, analytical skills, critical thinking skills, organisational skills and strong attention to detail

– Able to accurately process a high volume of work and act on own initiative

– Be a good business partner to Accounting & FPA Team Lead and the wider business community

– Be a good relationship builder and team player

– Experience in Power BI/Fabric would be advantageous

Qualifications:

– Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) – Level 4 Advantageous

– Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) – Advantageous

– Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA) – Advantageous

– Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) – Advantageous
