FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Oadby is an 8-bed residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities, epilepsy and mental health. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.

People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including going on drives, shopping and community outings, helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.

As a Support Worker, you’ll empower adults with learning disabilities, autism, ABI, and mental health needs to live life their way.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Support independence and personal goals

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care

• Assist with daily life activities, for example cooking, shopping and social outings

• Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing

• Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support

Work schedule 

Hours: Part-time – 20 hours per week (Monday to Sunday, rotabasis)

You will have 

• A caring, positive and reliable attitude

• Passion for supporting others

• Willingness to learn and grow

Requirement 

• NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Social Care

• Previous care experience

• Basic IT skills

• Entry Level – £12.71 per hour

• NVQ Level 2 completed – £12.96 per hour

• NVQ Level 3 completed – £13.21 per hour
