Your Responsibilities include:

• Effective Communication: Engage with patients and their families, ensuring they are informed and comfortable.

• Daily Living Assistance: Support patients with activities of daily living to promote their independence and well-being.

• Monitoring Patient Condition: Report any significant changes in a patient’s health status or needs to the physician promptly.

• Vital Signs Collection: Accurately measure and record vital signs, including temperature and blood pressure.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed patient records, including medical history, medications, allergies, and any adverse reactions.

• Emotional Support: Provide compassionate emotional support to both patients and their families, fostering a caring environment.

• Training: Mandatory training essential for all

• Healthcare Assistants: Buccal Training, Epilepsy awareness, Ligature training

Work schedule 

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

You will have 

• Drivers required due to poor transport links service needs

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.

• Completion of MAPA/CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training (CPI Blue Card) or PMVA training.

• We are currently seeking dedicated Support Workers/ Health Care Assistant to join our dynamic team. 

• The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal communication skills and have experience working with elderly patients. 

• This role involves providing bedside care and assisting physicians with managing illnesses or injuries, so we are looking for individuals who can respond effectively to patient needs in a systematic manner. 

• Attention to detail is crucial to ensure that all tasks are completed thoroughly.
