FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysingand interpreting complex data sets, developing innovative solutions, and supporting various projects to optimiseorganisational efficiency. Your Responsibilities include:

• Analyse large datasets using tools such as SQL, R, Python, Power BI, and Tableau to generate actionable insights.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualisations to support business reporting requirements.

• Design and optimise databases, including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring data integrity and security.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Manage projects through the entire SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.

• Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation using VBA, Bash (Unix shell), or other scripting languages.

• Create detailed documentation using Visio and other tools to support system architecture and process workflows.

• Support database design efforts, including schema development and optimisation for performance enhancement.

• Assist in project management activities, including planning, tracking progress, and reporting on project milestones.

Work Schedule

Full-time remote working.

You Will Have

• Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

• Strong knowledge of SQL, including experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.

• Data analysis skills with experience in R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), or similar scripting languages.

• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and project management principles.

• Experience with database design, optimisation, and data modelling techniques.

• Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets accurately.

• Familiarity with Visio for creating diagrams related to system architecture or process workflows.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Effective communication skills to liaise with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. This role is ideal for a motivated individual passionate about leveraging data analytics to drive business success while working within a supportive team environment.
