FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a growing company in the building and construction sector looking for a confident and proactive individual to support our business development.

This role is focused on generating new opportunities — not just admin. You will be researching potential projects, contacting prospective clients, and helping secure meetings and tender opportunities.

If you enjoy speaking to people, are confident on the phone, and like the idea of directly contributing to business growth, this role will suit you.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Research construction projects and potential clients

• Organise and manage lead data (e.g. from industry databases)

• Make outbound calls (including cold calls) to introduce our services

• Build relationships with contractors, architects, and developers

• Book meetings and identify tender opportunities

• Keep clear records of calls and follow-ups

Work Schedule

6-10 hours per week with flexitime and flexible remote schedule.

You Will Have

• Confident speaking on the phone (essential)

• Comfortable making cold calls (essential)

• Friendly, professional, and persistent

• Organised and able to work independently

• Previous experience in sales, telesales, or customer-facing roles preferred

• Experience in construction or property is a bonus but not required
