FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

GE Caledonian offers Graduate Apprenticeship providing BEng (Hons) Design and Manufacturing qualification through Strathclyde University. This 4-year fixed-term role exposes participants to comprehensive engineering operations within MRO aviation environment.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Championing Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost deliverables across engineering activities.

• Developing expertise in workscoping, shop operations, repair, assembly and engine testing.

• Collaborating with SPO, EH&S, Maintenance and NPI teams on change management projects.

• Driving continuous improvement adopting Lean principles and closing audit findings.

Work Schedule

Full-time 4-year apprenticeship with monthly university attendance required.

You Will Have

• 4 Scottish Highers (minimum B grades) including Maths and Physics.

• Scottish residency eligibility for full GA funding (3+ years UK/Scotland residence).

• Commitment demonstrating satisfactory academic progress toward BEng qualification.

Requirements

• Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance maintainable throughout employment.
