FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

North Bristol NHS Trust seeks a House Keeper to work as integral ward team member ensuring clean, safe, comfortable patient environment. This role coordinates cleaning, catering services and minor maintenance supporting clinical teams through essential non-clinical routines.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Preparing/serving patient breakfasts and distributing/collecting lunch/supper menus daily.

• Liaising with Catering for meal tray delivery, conducting refreshment rounds and maintaining bedside water.

• Practicing FIFO stock rotation, monitoring fridge temperatures and maintaining ward pantry cleanliness.

• Cleaning cupboards, shelves, trolleys, restocking PPE and decluttering ward areas consistently.

Work Schedule

Part-time role within hospital ward environment following patient meal/service schedules.

You Will Have

• Strong organisational skills maintaining quality standards across cleaning/catering duties.

• Ability working closely with contractors, support services and ward supervisory staff.

• Attention to detail ensuring hygiene, safety and patient comfort through daily routines.

Requirements

• Experience supporting healthcare environments through housekeeping/catering services.
