FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Nuffield Health seeks Healthcare Support Workers for their Leeds Hospital ward supporting Registered Nurses and consultants in delivering exceptional pre and post-surgery patient care. This bank role puts patient care first within award-winning facilities handling complex surgeries across multiple specialities.
Your Responsibilities include:
• Supporting Registered Nurses with patient care needs preand post-surgery.
• Carrying out administrative duties and meeting individual patient requirements.
• Using organisational skills to positively impact patient experience and safety.
• Working within Level 3 critical care unit supporting brain, cardiac, orthopaedic and spinal surgery patients.
Work Schedule
Flexible bank hours including weekend work as business needs require.
You Will Have
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care qualification.
• Relevant experience in acute hospital or care setting.
• Good telephone manner, computer skills and ability to follow instructions/meet deadlines.
Requirements
• Experience supporting nursing teams in hospital ward environments.
