FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Send seeks a DevOps Engineer to ensure reliability, security and operational excellence of their cloud-native insurance platform. This hands-on role provides UK afternoon-evening coverage for US customers, owns incident response, release coordination and platform stability while driving automation to reduce operational toil.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Acting as primary engineer for UK afternoon-evening incident triage, investigation and resolution.

• Leading operational execution ensuring actionable alerts, runbook adherence and consistent incident management.

• Mentoring junior engineers on troubleshooting, cloud operations and safe change practices.

• Owning operational backlog, identifying repeat toil and driving automation improvements.

• Improving CI/CD pipelines, release readiness and platform foundations for self-service capabilities.

Work Schedule

Hybrid role based in London Monument office working UK afternoons through evenings for US customer coverage.

You Will Have

• 3-5 years DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering experience with strong hands-on AWS expertise.

• Solid Infrastructure as Code experience (ideally Terraform) and CI/CD pipeline design.

• Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) with excellent documentation and communication abilities.

• Experience with container platforms, observability, security practices highly desirable.

• Comfortable working cross-functionally during incidents with engineering and customer teams.
