FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
As Lead Veterinary Surgeon in Birkenhead, you’ll guide clinical standards and mentor veterinary teams within purpose-driven Community Interest Company reinvesting profits into patient care and staff development while maintaining 4-day week balance, collaborating with Practice Manager/Lead Nurse leadership trio, and influencing KPIs within sustainable practice prioritizing quality over profit maximization.
Your Responsibilities include:
• Lead clinical governance + team development initiatives.
• Mentor vets through coaching + 1:1 performance support.
• Shape clinical standards + operational workflows.
• Contribute to KPIs/P&L reviews + practice direction.
• Maintain clinical caseload with leadership balance.
Work Schedule
4-day week (38 hours) 10-hour days 8am-7pm.
1 in 9 Saturdays predictable rota.
Birkenhead practice leadership role.
You Will Have
