FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Product Coordinator Intern at Margaret Howell, you’ll bridge designers and international suppliers (Italy, UK, Portugal, Japan) to develop the Mainline woven and accessories collection per Critical Path timelines, managing sample deliveries, technical specifications, garment fittings, and ERP/PLM records while ensuring premium quality craftsmanship and timely production handovers. This 8-week full-time placement starting 30th March supports the contemporary British designer’s global operations (12 EU shops, 70+ Japan outlets) through meticulous product development coordination, supplier relationship management, and sustainability compliance. Italian language skills desirable alongside proven multi-category product experience in high-end tailoring construction.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Liaise between designers/suppliers ensuring Critical Path delivery of Mainline collection.

• Manage sample timelines, technical specs, design packs, BOM, and fitting sessions.

• Maintain accurate ERP/PLM records and communicate cost price changes.

• Conduct garment measurements/fittings providing comprehensive technical notes to suppliers.

• Support production handover highlighting bulk production risks and issues.

Work Schedule

Full-time 35 hours per week.

Monday-Friday office hours.

Fixed 8-week placement starting 30th March.

You Will Have 

• Excellent English communication (Italian desirable) building supplier relationships.

• Supplier negotiation, sourcing, and relationship management confidence.

• Exceptional attention to detail, time management under pressure.

• Sustainability/ethical compliance understanding with multiple priority handling.

Requirements

• 1-2 years’ Product Development experience across multi-category products.

• Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, fitting, tailoring craftsmanship.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PLM, and ERP systems.

• Full-time availability starting 30th March.
