FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Pharmacy Dispenser at AAA Health LTD, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient dispensing of prescription medications while delivering friendly, professional customer service to patients. Working as part of a community pharmacy team, you will support pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the correct medication, advice, and support. This role is suitable for detail-oriented individuals with a strong sense of responsibility, who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with the public.

You will maintain accurate records, prepare and package medications for distribution, and follow all pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards. The position offers a range of working patterns, including full-time, part-time and zero hours contracts, giving flexibility to fit around other commitments.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in line with legal and professional requirements.

• Provide excellent customer service, answering patients’ questions and addressing their concerns in a clear and respectful manner.

• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to support safe and appropriate medication therapy for patients.

• Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles, ensuring all information is kept up to date.

• Prepare, label, and package medications for distribution and collection.

• Adhere to all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, policies, and professional standards at all times.

Work Schedule

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract.

Exact shift patterns to be agreed with the employer based on service needs.

You Will Have 

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when dispensing medications.

• Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced pharmacy environment.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and colleagues.

• Knowledge of patient care principles and medication administration.

• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience is preferred (but may not be strictly essential if you meet the qualification requirement).

Requirements

• Must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services to apply.

• Work authorisation in the United Kingdom (required).

• English language skills (required).
