FULL JOB DESCRIPTION 

Caritas Care is seeking compassionate and motivated Support Workers to join its VIP and FX Day Services in Preston. In this role, you will support adults with learning disabilities, helping them develop independence, self-confidence, and social skills.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will assist individuals in participating in meaningful daily activities and encourage them to live fulfilling and independent lives.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Provide daily support to adults with learning disabilities.

• Encourage independence, confidence, and social development.

• Support individuals in engaging with activities and community opportunities.

• Assist with personal development and life skills.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver person-centred support.

• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for service users.

Work Schedule:
18–34 hours per week
Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Overtime available

Requirements

• Caring and motivated attitude toward supporting vulnerable individuals.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Commitment to promoting independence and wellbeing.

• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.

• Note: Caritas Care does not offer visa sponsorship. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK.
