FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Avery Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join the team at Clare Court Care Home in Birmingham. In this role, you will support residents by providing high-quality personal care and assisting with daily activities while ensuring dignity, independence, and respect. Your Responsibilities include:

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily care while maintaining dignity and independence.

• Monitor residents for clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls, and signs of infection.

• Report any health concerns or risks to senior staff promptly.

• Treat residents and visitors with courtesy and respect at all times.

• Follow safe working procedures across all care tasks.

• Work collaboratively with the care team to maintain continuity of care.

Work Schedule:
3 days a week (Shift rota basis)

You will have:

• Good communication skills (both verbal and written).

• Respectful and compassionate attitude toward residents and colleagues.

• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team.

• Flexible and adaptable to changing responsibilities.

• Experience is not required as full training and induction will be provided.

Requirements

• DBS Disclosure check (paid for by Avery Healthcare).

• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
