Care Assistant (Sponsorship Available)

THE ROLE

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join a reputable care team in Ely (CB7). This is a full-time position offering stable day shifts, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. We provide care and support to individuals in a residential or community setting, helping them to maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Sponsorship Certificate (CoS): We are pleased to offer sponsorship for the right candidate who is already in the UK and holds a valid Skilled Worker visa or has the right to switch. Please note: This is not a relocation role; we can only accept applications from candidates currently residing in the UK.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer medication in accordance with care plans and company policies.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental wellbeing.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding where necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in condition to the senior team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Eligibility: Must currently reside in the UK and hold, or be eligible to apply for, a Skilled Worker visa. We are unable to assist with overseas relocation.
• Experience: Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential; a full induction and training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Skills: Compassionate, patient, and reliable with excellent communication skills.
• Compliance: Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references.
• Availability: Must be able to commit to full-time day shifts in the Ely (CB7) area.
