FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Packer to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently preparing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in materials handling, warehouse management, and logistics operations within a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a keen eye for detail and physical stamina.

Morning Shift : 09:00-17:00
Monday – Wednesday

Responsibilities

● Carefully select and pack items according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

● Handle materials safely and efficiently, utilising appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.

● Assist with stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and maintaining organised storage areas.

● Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements, update stock levels, and process shipments.

● Load and unload goods from lorries or containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

● Conduct quality control checks on packed items to meet company standards before dispatch.

● Collaborate with shipping & receiving teams to coordinate timely dispatches and deliveries.

● Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

● Proven experience in warehousing, picking & packing, or related roles is preferred.

● Knowledge of materials handling procedures and mechanical systems used in warehouses.

● Experience operating forklifts or similar lifting equipment is advantageous but not essential; training can be provided.

● Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing.

● Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a regular basis.

● Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in packing and inventory management.

● Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as load & unload operations.

● Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting minor equipment issues but not mandatory. This role offers an engaging environment where your organisational skills and physical capabilities will be valued as part of our dedicated team.
