Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. This role offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills within a professional environment committed to patient wellbeing and safety.

Duties

● Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently

● Manage stock levels, ordering, receiving and organising medication supplies

● Prepare and label medication packages in accordance with legal and safety standards

● Provide exceptional customer service by answering queries and offering guidance on over-the-counter products

● Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised and compliant with health and safety regulations

● Support patient care activities by providing information on medication usage and potential side effects

Requirements

● Previous experience in pharmacy technician is desirable but happy to provide training to euthanistic individuals

● Strong organisational skills with attention to detail

● Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals

● Ability to work as part of a team within a fast-paced environment

● Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to legal standards in healthcare settings
