Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team.
This role is mainly is in the following regions:
Nottingham
Birmingham
Middlesborough
Stoke-On-Trent

In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care while adhering to care plans.

Duties

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions to senior staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to care.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the care environment.
• Drive residents to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
• Strong English language skills for effective communication with residents and colleagues.
• Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
• A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting residents.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
