Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. This role involves accurately dispensing medications, supporting patient care, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of pharmacy services. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a pharmacy technician and a strong commitment to patient safety and confidentiality. Responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols
• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, packaging, and labelling
• Provide guidance to patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions
• Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient interactions in compliance with legal and organisational standards
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reordering supplies as needed
• Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and medication management

Experience

• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser is essential
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmaceutical regulations
• Experience in patient care, including providing clear communication about medication use and safety precautions
• Familiarity with pharmacy management software systems is desirable
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members
