FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Health Care Assistant required in Basingstoke area
Role and Responsibilities:
- Help with washing & dressing (Personal Care)
- Shopping & meal preparation
- Prompting with medication
- Support with daily routines
- Respite services
- Socialising and leisure activities
- Helping clients access the community
Job Description and Person Specification
Qualifications Required and Desirable Experience:
SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE FOR ONE PERSON
- Mandatory Training in date
- DBS must be on update service/Must be willing to undergo DBS Disclosure
- Commitment to care certificate standards in first 3 months of employment
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Proven experience as a carer – or willing to be trained
- A valid driver’s licence
Skills Required:
- Mobility – ability to position and use mechanical or physical lifts for transfer where necessary or where service user has that equipment
