FULL JOB DESCRIPTION 

We are currently recruiting a Picking Operative to join the warehouse team at a growing and friendly dog food company based in Weston-super-Mare.

This role is ideal for someone reliable, hard-working, and looking for stable, long-term work with a supportive employer. You’ll play a key part in ensuring that customer orders are picked accurately and efficiently, ready for dispatch.

Duties

• Picking and packing pet food products according to order sheets.
• Ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
• Support shipping & receiving processes, including documentation and record keeping

Experience

• Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience preferred, but not essential — full training provided
• Ability to work on your feet and handle repetitive tasks
• Good attention to detail and teamwork skills
• Able to work in a cold environment, packing frozen products
• Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude

This is a temporary role.

Shift pattern: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
