FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, demonstrating exceptional cooking skills and creativity. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality while leading a team to deliver an outstanding dining experience.

Duties

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain kitchen efficiency.
• Create innovative dishes that showcase culinary skills while adhering to budgetary constraints.
• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new kitchen staff as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Previous supervisory or team management experience is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring junior staff.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• A creative mindset with the ability to develop unique dishes that enhance the menu offerings.
