 Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Assistant to join our team. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met while promoting our products effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others, contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
• Provide knowledgeable information about products and services, including upselling where appropriate.
• Maintain an organised and visually appealing merchandising display to enhance customer engagement.
• Handle transactions accurately, ensuring basic math skills are applied for cash handling.
• Manage time effectively to ensure all customer needs are addressed promptly.
• Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or queries.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Assist in maintaining stock levels and inventory management as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English is essential; multilingual or bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Previous experience in a customer service role is advantageous but not mandatory.
