FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Administrative Assistant to join our school team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support the smooth running of our school office.
Hours of work: 9:00 to 3:00pm, including a 30-minute unpaid break
Contract type: Term-time plus 20 days
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to staff and leadership.
- Manage correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
- Maintain student records and handle confidential information with care.
- Liaise with parents, students, and external contacts in a professional manner.
- Assist in the set up and smooth running of Parent’s Evenings for both Junior and Senior School.
- Co-ordinate the administration activities relating to the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.
- Support day-to-day office operations, including filing and data entry.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- A positive and approachable attitude, with a commitment to supporting the school community.
