Oodles Wok is the UK’s leading Indo-Chinese fusion brand, known for fast, fresh, and flavourful food. Our Hamilton branch is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Kitchen Manager to take charge of kitchen operations, team performance, and food quality control.

 Responsibilities:

• Lead all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth food preparation and service during all shifts.
• Supervise, train, and support kitchen staff including chefs and assistants.
• Ensure consistent food quality, portioning, and presentation in line with brand standards.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
• Manage stock levels, supplier orders, and kitchen inventory.
• Support with scheduling, performance evaluations, and operational planning.
• Coordinate closely with the front-of-house and shop manager for overall efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or Senior Chef in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, kitchen operations, and staff supervision.
• Background in Indo-Chinese, Chinese, or Asian cuisine preferred.
• Ability to lead a team under pressure and maintain a positive kitchen culture.
• Flexible, dependable, and passionate about food quality and customer satisfaction.
• Eligible to work in the UK – visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates.
