FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Role

We are looking to hire an IT Support Engineer to join our IT Support Team.

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for IT issues raised by colleagues within the business, troubleshooting hardware and software. You will work closely with internal and external parties to ensure the smooth operation of the technology function within the business. You will primarily be covering the office hours of the business, but some out-of-hours work will be required at times.

IT experience is preferred. We will provide internal training as well as supporting you to obtain relevant qualifications and certifications as part of your role.

Responsibilities:

• Provided technical support and troubleshooted hardware and software issues.
• Manage IT asset inventory.
• Deployment of new hardware and software.
• System monitoring and maintenance.
• Producing technical documentation.
• Work with colleagues to ensure stable IT operations.
• Manage on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience providing technical support within a similar role.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure is preferable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• A strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team or individually using your initiative.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing requirements.
• A desire to learn and take on new challenges.

You will need to be eligible to work in the UK. We are not able to offer sponsorship for this role.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday.

Remote on-call support every other Saturday.
