P A Hull & Co are a long-established, family-run firm of Chartered Accountants and are looking for a bright, enthusiastic person to work at our Hindley & Aspull offices 4 afternoons per week.

If you have excellent organizational skills, enjoy meeting people, and work well as part of a team, then this could be the job for you.

Responsibilities

  • Providing general day-to-day administration support for the office, including:
  • Handling telephone calls
  • Dealing with clients face-to-face, including reception duties
  • Handling incoming/outgoing post
  • Handling cash and other payments from clients
  • Posting receipts into our accounting system
  • Various other administrative duties as required, including archiving, photocopying, stationery orders, payment of invoices, etc
  • Maintaining our client database

Skills

  • Proficient in office administration with strong organisational skills.
  • Experience with Xero is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office for document creation and management.
  • Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong phone etiquette with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking.
