About the role
Our Independent Living Team is expanding, we have a part-time, 21-hour-per-week opportunity for a Housing Assistant to work at our Extra Care Service at Lincoln Gardens in Lawrence Hill, Bristol (BS5).
You will be part of a dedicated team where you will work with the Extra Care Scheme Manager to provide a high-quality housing management service, which ensures the delivery of safe and secure service provision. You will work to ensure our housing management services exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice and guidance for repairs, tenancy management, and rent
- Complete routine health and safety inspections
- Engage and communicate effectively with residents
- Respond positively and timely to resident’s complaints, handing them on to specialist teams where appropriate
- Ensure all incident reports are completed as required

You’ll also be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in working with customers and acting on their feedback to deliver great customer service
- The ability to work together and communicate well with others
- Good oral and written communications
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
- A good level of IT skills and knowledge
- Good administration skills
Essential qualifications – Educated to a level one (GCSE or equivalent) or higher.
