FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Riipen is looking for Student Experience Managers to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring students successfully navigate our programs. In this role, you’ll work closely with schools, students, and internal teams to drive student engagement, support recruitment efforts, and help learners persist through their projects. Your work will directly contribute to student success by improving their access to real-world work-integrated learning experiences that prepare them for their careers.
This role is perfect for someone with experience in student engagement, program coordination, or education support who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This role is fully remote and open to candidates in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Student Recruitment & Screening:Â Review student applications, select qualified candidates, and send program invitations.
- Institution Support:Â Meet with schools to assist with student recruitment strategies and outreach.
- Application Strategy:Â Guide students in selecting the right projects based on their career aspirations.
- Onboarding & Engagement:Â Lead student information sessions, provide proactive support, and help students navigate the program
- Pipeline Management:Â Track student applications and ensure conversion from applicant to active participant to completion.
- Persistence & Retention:Â Conduct proactive check-ins and follow-ups to support students throughout their projects.
- Communication & Outreach:Â Manage outbound emails to students, respond to direct inquiries, and support students in overcoming challenges.
- Employability & Impact:Â Follow up with students post-program to ensure accountability and assess employability outcomes.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
You may be a good fit if:
- You have experience in student engagement, program coordination, academic advising, or education support (2+ years preferred).
- You are passionate about helping students succeed and supporting them in their career journeys.
- You have strong organizational skills and can manage multiple student pipelines at once.
- You are a clear and empathetic communicator who can engage students through outreach, onboarding, and support.
- You are proactive in identifying challenges and working towards solutions.
- You are comfortable using email automation, CRM tools, and student tracking systems (experience with HubSpot is a bonus).
- You thrive in a remote, fast-paced, and collaborative work environment.
Bonus Points:
Experience using Hubspot, Intercom, G-Suite, and Slack
Experience in ed-tech
