This is a permanent, full-time post of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday.
Band 2 Health Care Support Worker for Sandyford
The role of the Health Care Support Worker is to support professional healthcare staff to deliver care within the healthcare establishment in line with the standards and policies of healthcare provision in the NHS Service.
The role involves assisting the registered nurses to ensure that the physical environment is safe, clean, comfortable, and suitable for patient care. To contribute to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients by being an active and supporting member of the team.
This is a diverse role that involves the day-to-day delivery of a high standard of support to the nursing team based at the Sandyford Sexual Health, Gynaecology, and Termination of Pregnancy clinics to enable health care to be delivered.

However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37-hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
