The role is based on working from home and traveling to any of our four sites for meetings when necessary. Ideally, the furthest site from your home address should be no further than 1 hour away.

We have an exciting new opportunity for an HR Assistant to join our busy HR team on a fixed-term contract. You will play a key role in providing an efficient and responsive HR service to the organization, covering all areas of recruitment and general HR administrative duties.

You will be highly organized, experienced in handling high volumes of recruitment, and have the ability to work to deadlines whilst handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

The role is based as working from home with travel to any of our four sites for meetings as directed. Ideally, the furthest site from your home address should be no further than 1 hour away. You will also need to travel to our Head Office in Betteshanger for fortnightly HR team days.

Please note you must have sufficient broadband speed to be able to work from home.

Part-Time Hours: 30 hours per week (working hours 09:00 – 17:00. Scheduled day off will be Thursday)

Qualifications and Experience

  • Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent) Grade C or above.
  • Proven experience of working in an HR/Recruitment environment.
  • Good working knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook.
  • Experience in taking minutes at formal meetings.
  • Proven experience in assisting with recruitment.
  • Proven strong administration skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Awareness and understanding of the importance of Confidentiality within the HR department, demonstrating discretion at all times.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Team Player.
  • Travel to any of our four sites for meetings will be required when necessary. Ideally, their furthest site from your home address should be no further than 1 hour away.
