FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Entry / Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong Excel skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to analyze data effectively to produce comprehensive reports. This role will involve maintaining our data integrity across various platforms, supporting our Management Information System portal, and performing scanning tasks related to exam assessments. Managing computerized management information systems such as Bromcom with the ability to produce reports and data summaries. The job would require me to participate in daily office duties like handling phone calls, filing, etc. Must have prior experience working with databases and be fully computer literate including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Duties
- Data Entry: Accurately enter and manage data in Excel, ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze exam score data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Utilize statistical methods and software to conduct analysis.
- MIS Portal Support: Assist in the management and updating of the Management Information System portal, ensuring data is accurate and accessible for reporting purposes.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that staff have access to student data which is accurate and up to date and you will lead the development and operation of the school’s data and reporting system to support staff at all levels to organize, analyze, and manipulate school level and student data.
- Scanning Exam Reports: Efficiently scan and digitize exam reports to create electronic records that are easily accessible and organized.
- Scanning Multiple Choice Exam Sheets: Process and scan multiple-choice exam sheets, ensuring that data is captured accurately for further analysis and reporting.
Skills
- Proven experience with data entry, data analysis, and reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Experience with scanning technology and document management systems is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Statistics, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in data entry and analysis, preferably in an educational or academic setting.
- Proficiency in data management software eg: Excel, Google Sheets Statistical analysis tools eg. SPSS, R, Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must have prior experience working with databases for a minimum of 3 years (preferably in a school /educational setting).
