We are seeking an experienced pattern maker to collaborate on our upcoming collections. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with a deep understanding of luxury garment construction, precision in pattern development, and experience working with both structured and fluid silhouettes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop precise, production-ready patterns from design sketches, technical drawings, and draping.
Create patterns for tailored pieces (blazers, structured jackets, trousers) and draped garments (fluid dresses, asymmetric designs, corsetry).
Execute corset construction with a focus on impeccable fit and craftsmanship.
Translate complex design details into patterns while maintaining brand aesthetics and garment functionality.
Work with a variety of fabrics, including deadstock materials, structured tailoring textiles, and fluid drapes.
Ensure patterns allow for efficient, high-quality production and finishing techniques.
Modify and refine patterns based on fittings, feedback, and fabric behavior.
Collaborate closely with the designer and sample makers to troubleshoot fit and construction issues.
Provide detailed digital or hand-drafted patterns, including grading when necessary.

- Strong understanding of garment fit, proportion, and finishing techniques.
- Experience working with craft-based or heritage techniques is a plus.
- Proficiency in manual and digital pattern making (CLO3D, Gerber, Optitex, or similar software preferred).
- Ability to work efficiently and independently while meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with Nigerian-inspired silhouettes and an appreciation for cultural craftsmanship is an advantage.
