FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a remote position for an experienced article writer based in the UK. Within this role, you will be primarily researching, writing and editing articles on topics such as business, e-commerce and making money online – experience and interest in these areas is highly beneficial.

The expectation is to deliver a minimum of one polished, well-researched 2,000-word article each day.

As this is a remote position, you must be able to work independently and be self-motivated. You will be supported and training will be provided.

This role is offered as an initial 4-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance, available capacity, and mutual agreement to continue.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct thorough research and generate engaging digital content.
  • Edit and rewrite content to ensure high quality.
  • Develop ideas and produce outlines for new articles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, clients and contributors.
  • Assist in project management and support administrative functions.

 EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Proven experience in writing articles for business.
  • An academic background in Creative Writing, Journalism or English Language is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong multitasking ability, capable of meeting tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and efficiency in all work processes.
  • Friendly, flexible, and a positive attitude toward challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.

Location: This is a remote position. However, the team does meet quarterly in areas around Manchester / Lancashire / Yorkshire. So, a location that makes this visit feasible would be preferable.

Salary & Benefits: £22,308 per annum for a 40-hour workweek, which includes flexibility in working hours, a 30-minute unpaid break each day, and an optional pension.
