Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing essential support to service users, ensuring they receive high-quality care in a safe and respectful environment. Duties
- Assist staff with the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs
- Support service users with daily activities such as mobility, personal hygiene, and nutrition
- Communicate effectively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation, adhering to health and safety protocols
- Utilise IT systems to update records and document care provided
- Assist with administrative tasks
- Respond promptly to requests and escalate concerns to senior staff when necessary
Requirements
- At least 3 months prior experience or knowledge of healthcare support; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Basic IT literacy for updating electronic health records and documentation
- Ability to work flexibly within a team environment, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in healthcare support are advantageous but not mandatory
