The Role
You will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live safely, independently, and with confidence, while building meaningful relationships and delivering high-quality care.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting individuals with daily living and maintaining their home
- Encouraging independence, choice, and decision-making
- Assisting with personal care where required which may include toileting and bathing.
- Supporting access to community, social, and leisure activities
- Assisting with health needs, including medication and appointments
- Keeping accurate records and working collaboratively with others
- Promoting wellbeing, safety, and dignity at all times
- Support people with their finances, where necessary, and in line with the company policy.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
About You
- Experience supporting individuals who use a wheelchair, including safely pushing and manoeuvring wheelchairs.
- Experience in stoma care.
- Experience with manual handling procedures.
- Experience using hoists and moving & handling equipment.
- A caring, patient, and professional approach to supporting people to live independently.
- Relevant health and social care experience preferred.
