Position:Community Cafe Worker (Charity)

Salary: £12.71 per hour 

Job Type: Part Time 

Work location:Glasgow, Scotland

Zero-Hours Contract – as and when required to cover for annual leave and sickness

· Candidates must be community focused – social care background preferred but not essential

·You will lead our community café in its day to day operations

· Shifts available in our community café “Possobilities Café” in the G22 area

· Responsible for supervising café volunteers, some with disabilities/learning difficulties

· Preparing, cooking and serving hot and cold café and takeaway food

. Cash Handling including Cash Till, card reader, and cashing up

. Customer service

· General kitchen duties

· Shift patterns; Possobilities Community Café 9.15am – 1.45pm, Monday to Friday

· The organisation will seek to give reasonable notice of upcoming shifts

Person Specification

· Experience working in a kitchen, including food preparation, cooking and service

· Ability to work well as part of a team and be flexible, including working with people with disabilities

· Good communication skills with colleagues and the customers

· Food Hygiene Certificate and/or other relevant qualifications essential

· Can do, positive, helpful attitude
