Job Summary
Enhancing Your Care Ltd is looking for a caring, reliable and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to provide person-centred support to an individual in Hengrove, Bristol.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting people with their mental health and helping individuals maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
The successful candidate will provide support during weekday mornings, working closely with the individual to encourage independence, promote wellbeing and provide appropriate emotional and practical support.
Key Responsibilities
● Provide person-centred mental health support.
● Build a positive, trusting and professional relationship with the individual.
● Encourage independence and participation in daily activities.
● Provide emotional and practical support as required.
● Support the individual to access the community and engage in meaningful activities where appropriate.
● Observe and report any changes in wellbeing, behaviour or presentation.
● Maintain accurate and confidential care/support records.
● Follow the individual’s support plan, risk assessments and agreed care procedures.
● Promote dignity, choice, privacy and respect at all times.
● Work effectively with colleagues, family members and other professionals where appropriate.
● Follow safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and infection prevention procedures.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 10:00am–12:00pm
This is a 10-hour-per-week part-time position based in Hengrove, Bristol.
