FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights. You will play a crucial role in supporting decision-making processes by analysing complex datasets and providing clear, concise reports. Your expertise in various tools and methodologies will be essential in driving our projects forward.

Duties

  1. Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets.
  2. Utilise tools such as Python to manipulate and analyse data efficiently.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
  4. Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure data integrity throughout project phases.
  5. Create visual representations of data using Visio to communicate findings effectively.
  6. Assist in database design and management to optimise data storage and retrieval processes.
  7. Manage projects by coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
  8. Prepare detailed reports and presentations that vaticinate future trends based on current data analysis.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Proven experience in data analysis with a strong understanding of statistical methods.
  2. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL for automation tasks.
  3. Knowledge of SDLC principles and experience working within project management frameworks.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analytically under pressure.
  5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
  6. Proficient in data engineering, including ETL processes, data integration, and database management.
  7. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex datasets.
