FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Position:Support worker
Salary:£13.50 – £15.00 an hour
Job Types:Part-time, Full-time
Work location:Worthing BN11 4AS
Duties:
Provide support and assist individuals with physical health needs and individuals
living with dementia to ensure high quality person centred care.
Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation,
support residents to be as independent as they can, while promoting dignity.
Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
Maintain accurate records of daily activities and progress notes
Understand your role in keeping vulnerable individuals safe from harm.
Understand your role in infection control prevention
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Patience and empathy when working with individuals on there dementia journey
Strong problem-solving skills- Ability to follow instructions and protocols accurately
Flexibility in working hours and tasks
