THE COMPANY

We are a small, local, family-run care provider looking to provide the best care available throughout Dundee City. We believe in ethical and holistic care that is focused on the person receiving our services. We have an “excellent” Care inspectorate Grade, a great reputation among professional colleagues and have been rated #1 in Dundee by our clients for ten years running!

THE JOB

Supporting the elderly of Dundee to live in their own homes and enjoy the highest quality of life possible. Every day is different, assisting with all the activities of daily living our clients need or want your help with. You will meet a varied group of clients and get to know each on an individual basis.

You will be paid £13.45 per hour weekdays and £14.80 at weekends if taken on as an Experienced Carer. You will be paid £14.12 per hour weekdays and £15.53 at weekends if taken on as a Qualified Carer (relevant SVQ2 or equivalent). You are paid in full shifts, so all travel and waiting time is included.

Flexible working hours are available, based on full-time, part-time or bank basis.

THE PERSON

We are looking for people who genuinely care and are compassionate, honest, positive, reliable, flexible and can work well both on their own and as part of a team.

You should have at least 6 months experience of paid care work.

Even with your experience, it’s your values and attitudes we’re most interested in, and we will provide all the training you require to perform in our award-winning team, with you learning from the best, to be the best.

For our community-based roles you must drive, have daily use of a car and have the right to work in the UK (we do not provide sponsorship). You should also currently live in our service area of Dundee City (and surrounding).
