AJ AUTOS UK LTD is an established automotive Family Run company specialising in the sale of used cars and light motor vehicles, together with motor-vehicle maintenance and repair services.

We are seeking an experienced Marketing and Commercial Manager to develop and lead the company’s marketing, customer-acquisition and commercial-growth strategy.

Main responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s marketing and commercial strategy.
• Identify new markets, services, customer groups and revenue opportunities.
• Conduct competitor, market and customer-behaviour research.
• Prepare annual marketing plans, commercial forecasts and budgets.
• Develop pricing and promotional strategies for vehicle sales, servicing and repair services.
• Manage digital advertising, search-engine marketing, social media and email campaigns.
• Oversee the company website and online vehicle-advertising platforms.
• Analyse leads, sales conversions, customer-acquisition costs and campaign performance.
• Build commercial relationships with vehicle dealers, fleet operators, finance providers, insurers and suppliers.
• Negotiate advertising agreements, supplier arrangements and business-to-business contracts.
• Develop customer-retention, referral and loyalty programmes.
• Monitor sales revenue, profit margins and commercial-performance targets.
• Manage external marketing agencies, designers and advertising providers.
• Produce monthly performance reports for the Managing Director.
• Work closely with vehicle-sales and workshop teams to ensure services are marketed accurately.
• Ensure all advertising complies with consumer-protection and data-protection requirements.

Essential requirements

• Degree or equivalent professional experience in marketing, business, HR or a related subject.
• Experience developing and delivering marketing or business-growth strategies.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing, customer acquisition and campaign analysis.
• Ability to analyse financial and commercial information.
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Competence using Microsoft Office, CRM systems and digital-advertising platforms.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Desirable requirements

• Experience within the automotive, vehicle-sales, garage or transport industry.
• Experience managing Google Ads, social-media advertising and vehicle-listing platforms.
• Experience negotiating business-to-business contracts.
• Knowledge of the UK used-car and vehicle-servicing market.
• Full UK driving licence. Compulsory
