FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a Support Worker/Health Care Assistant seeking flexibility in your work pattern? Do you want to make a difference to patients’ quality of life? We currently have some unique and exciting opportunities within Like Care Limited which will allow the successful candidates to gain regular shifts and valuable experience.

We have a variety of service users which include the adults with Mental Health disability, physical disability and Learning disability.

This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check. Please note, we do not provide sponsorship and you need to be legally authorised to work in the UK.

• To provide physical and psychological care to service users in accordance with the specified plan of clinical care.
• To carry out duties as designated by the person in charge.
• To accurately record patient/client information
• To provide support to relatives/carers

To apply for this post, you must:

• Have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role held within the last 2 years.
• Have good communication skills and demonstrate evidence of team working.
• Be able to take direction and instruction and be honest and trustworthy.
• Knowledge of mental health and clinical diagnoses
• Able to work on a flexible schedule.
• PMVA Trained / Physical Intervention (training can be organised if need be).
• A valid UK driving licence and a car
• Location of Work – Nuneaton, Leamington, Stratford, Rugby, Atherstone, Birmingham.

Salary: £850 to £950 a week

• Flexitime
• Sick pay
• We pay 45p mileage.

Day range:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday

Physical setting:

• Homecare
• Supported Living

Shift:

• Day shift
• Night shift
• Weekend Availability

Work Location: Nuneaton, Leamington, Stratford, Rugby, Atherstone, Birmingham.
