FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Support Worker – Mably House
Location: Hatfield
Salary: £12,531 per annum / £13.77 per hour
Hours: Part-time (17.5 hours per week)

Join our homeless supported living service supporting 35 residents in self-contained flats, empowering them to build independence and move on within 24 months.

The role:

• Provide person-centred support with care, respect and openness
• Develop and review support plans, risk assessments and PEEPs
• Promote independence through life skills and regular 1:1 sessions
• Support with tenancies, finances and benefit applications
• Carry out welfare checks and respond to safeguarding concerns
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes
• Maintain accurate, confidential records with accountability

Shifts: 9am-2pm

About you:

• Experience in care or support
• Compassionate, reliable and proactive with a “can-do” attitude
• Able to communicate effectively and adapt to individual needs
• Committed to inclusive, person-centred support and doing the right thing
• Works well independently and as part of a team

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
