FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: You will be regionally employed to support our services in the Hexham and Haydon Bridge Area.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Respecting the rights, needs, and dignity of clients while ensuring their behaviour is safe for themselves and others.
• Creating a calm, positive, and supportive atmosphere that enhances the clients physical and emotional health, security, individuality, and self-esteem.
• Assisting with all aspects of personal care.
• To create opportunities for clients to build and maintain personal relationships and social networks that encourage their active participation in the community.
• Promptly reporting any incidents, suspicions, or signs of physical or verbal abuse, neglect, or harm, in line with our Whistleblowing Policy and Procedure.
• Ensuring that all medications are securely stored and administered properly and safely.
• Monitoring the clients well-being and progress, and documenting observations.
• Providing feedback to your line manager regarding any aspects of client care that may require investigation or immediate attention.
