Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role offers an exciting chance to contribute to our strategic expansion and establish a significant presence in the market. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.

Duties

• Develop and implement strategic plans to identify new markets and business opportunities
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities
• Prepare compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to generate leads and convert prospects into clients
• Manage the sales pipeline using CRM software, ensuring accurate tracking of interactions and progress
• Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively, ensuring mutual benefit for all parties
• Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reports on business development activities
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the organisation’s services

Skills

• Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within the relevant industry sector
• Strong proficiency in CRM software, particularly Salesforce or similar platforms
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to analyse market data and translate insights into actionable strategies
